Debbi Kenote (b. 1991) is a New York-based artist who received her BFA from Western Washington University in 2014 and her MFA from Brooklyn College in 2016. She has shown her work throughout the United States, including at the Page Bond Gallery,the Peep Space, the SPRING/BREAK Art Show, and the Peekskill Project. Kenote’s work has been published through the Innovate Grant, Elle Magazine, The Hopper Prize, Art of Choice, Page Bond Gallery, and Otra Vox. It is collected worldwide and is held by corporate collections, such as the Capital One collection. Kenote has been an artist in residence at the Cob x PLOP Residency, Vermont Studio Center, DNA Residency, Nes Artist Residency, and CAI Projects. In 2022, she was a finalist for the Innovate Grant and, in 2021, was shortlisted for the Hopper Prize. In September 2022, she will be in residence at the Saltonstall Foundation in Ithaca, NY.
